Slide to clock out
  • A geofence per visit. Clock-in confirmed at each client’s address — proof of attendance without all-day tracking.
  • Carers always free. Pay per branch, never per carer, so a large roster never inflates the bill.
  • Accrual done right. Automatic holiday accrual including the 12.07% rule for irregular and zero-hours staff.

The bits that make shift work hard

Visits hard to evidence

Proving a carer attended a client’s home, on time, with no continuous tracking.

Per-seat bills across a big roster

Per-user pricing punishes a large, part-time care workforce.

Complex holiday accrual

Irregular hours and zero-hours contracts make holiday a spreadsheet nightmare.

How WagePilot helps

A geofence per visit

Clock-in confirmed at each client’s address — proof of attendance without all-day tracking.

Carers always free

Pay per branch, never per carer, so a large roster never inflates the bill.

Accrual done right

Automatic holiday accrual including the 12.07% rule for irregular and zero-hours staff.

Flat per site, staff free

Hire anyone you like. The bill never moves

No per-head fees means you can grow the team without watching a meter: one site stays at £10 whether you're 3 people or 30. Open another venue and it's a flat £8 more, never per person.

What you'd pay as your team grows: a typical per-seat tool vs WagePilot's flat price
Your team Typical per-seat tool WagePilot
5 staff ~£20/mo Free
10 staff ~£40/mo £10/mo
25 staff ~£100/mo £10/mo
50 staff ~£200/mo £18/mo

Per-seat figures assume a typical ~£4/user/month all-in rate (many tools sit £3–£6/user). Indicative, for illustration.

Care providers: common questions

Can WagePilot evidence that a carer attended a visit?
Yes. Carers clock in on their phone at each client’s address, confirmed by a geofence around that home, so you get a timestamped, on-site record of attendance per visit. Location is checked only at clock-in and clock-out, never continuously — built for UK GDPR data minimisation.
Does WagePilot replace our care-management or eMAR system?
No — WagePilot is workforce management (rota, clock-in, timesheets, holiday and labour cost), not a care-management or medication (eMAR) system. It runs alongside your care platform and hands clean, approved hours to payroll. It tracks time and attendance; it does not run care plans or medication records.
How does it handle holiday for zero-hours carers?
Accrual is calculated automatically, including the 12.07% rule for irregular-hours and part-year workers, so zero-hours and bank carers’ holiday is worked out for you rather than in a spreadsheet. Staff see their balance and request leave in the app.
How is it priced for a care agency with a large roster?
You pay per branch (site), never per carer. Carers are always free, so a large, part-time roster never moves the bill: one branch is £10/month (one small site free) and each extra branch is a flat £8/month with unlimited carers.
