Clock-in rules
Choose which clock-in methods your team can use — GPS, QR or manual — and control who can see pay rates.
Under Config → Clock-in rules you decide how shifts are allowed to start and end, and who can see pay. These settings apply across your business. Press Save for changes to take effect.
Allowed methods
The Clock-in methods row is a set of chips — tap to switch each on or off. Pick one or more. Most teams pair GPS with a printed QR code as a backup.
- GPS
- The default. A one-off location check confirms the person is inside the site geofence.
- QR code
- Scan a printed code by the till: a dependable route where GPS is weak, and still geofenced whenever the phone can give a position. Turn this on to make sign-in flyers work.
- Manual
- Allow a clock-in with no location proof. Useful for trusted off-site work, but it removes the on-site guarantee, so enable it deliberately.
Pay visibility
Owners and managers can both see hourly rates and live cost today. A Managers can see pay rates setting is on the way for owners who prefer to keep pay private to ownership; until it ships, treat anyone you make a manager as able to see the money.
