Clock-in rules
Choose which clock-in methods your team can use — GPS, QR or manual — and control who can see pay rates.
Under Config → Clock-in rules you decide how shifts are allowed to start and end, and who can see pay. These settings apply across your business.
Allowed methods
Pick one or more ways your team can clock in. Most teams pair GPS with a printed QR code as a backup.
- GPS
- The default. A one-off location check confirms the person is inside the site geofence.
- QR code
- Scan a printed code by the till — a reliable fallback where GPS is weak.
- Manual
- Allow a clock-in with no location proof. Useful for trusted off-site work, but it removes the on-site guarantee, so enable it deliberately.
Pay visibility
The Managers can see pay rates toggle controls whether your managers see hourly rates and live cost. Some owners prefer to keep pay private to ownership; turn it off and managers still run rotas and approvals, just without the money.
