Encryption, secure billing through Stripe, role-based access, the kiosk lock, and the auditable history behind every change.
Security in WagePilot is mostly invisible — which is the point — but here is what is protecting your account and your team’s data.
- Encryption
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted in the EU/UK region.
- Secure billing
- Payments run through Stripe; WagePilot never stores full card numbers.
- Access control
- Owners and managers have appropriate access, and you can hide pay rates from managers. Roles are on every plan, including Free: access control is never paywalled.
- Kiosk lock
- A manager exit code, checked on the server, keeps staff on the shared kiosk tablet and away from pay and reports. Pair it with the tablet’s own Guided Access or Screen Pinning, which is what blocks the home button and address bar.
- Audit trail
- Every timesheet edit is logged with a reason in a tamper-evident history visible to staff.
