Shift correction requests

Staff can flag a wrong shift and propose the right times with a reason. You see the pay difference, then accept or decline, and the decision is logged.

Forgotten clock-outs and missed breaks are often spotted by the person who worked the shift. Instead of a message or a word at the till, they can send a correction from the staff app, and it arrives on Timesheets with everything you need to decide.

What staff do

  1. 01

    Open the shift

In the staff app, on Earnings, they open the shift and choose Something's wrong with this shift.

  2. 02

    Propose the right times

They enter the Started and Finished times and the Break (min) they believe are correct, and explain What happened?

  3. 03

    Send it

They see Sent. Your manager will accept or decline it.

What you see

The shift shows Correction requested on Timesheets. Opening it shows the Recorded and Proposed values side by side, including the difference in Gross pay, and Their reason. Accept it to apply the change, or decline it with a Note to them (for example, "CCTV shows you left at 22:10"). Either way the request, your decision and the note stay on the shift's history.
